a list

What I have done in my lifetime:

1. Started your own blog - Yeah... with a little obvious "duh" on that one.
2. Slept under the stars - Oh yes
3. Played in a band - no
4. Visited Hawaii - nope
5. Watched a meteor shower - mmm hmm... with my mom - it was the first time she'd ever seen even one... and there were thousands.
6. Given more than you can afford to charity - nope
7. Been to Disneyland - no... Disney World once when I was little
8. Climbed a mountain - Oh yes.
9. Held a praying mantis - yep
10. Sang a solo - when I was about 9.
11. Bungee jumped - nope.
12. Visited Paris - no

13. Watched a lightning storm at sea - not that I can think of.
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch - hmm... most of the sewing that I do... but I guess not really because I'm sure mom taught me the basics at some point.
15. Adopted a child - No
16. Had food poisoning - no... I'm invinceable
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty- you can’t do this anymore. - no... haven't even seen it.
18. Grown your own vegetables - mmm hmm... but see one of my initial posts on the scoop about that.
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France - no... but now cool would that be?!
20. Slept on an overnight train - nope.
21. Had a pillow fight - Yes
22. Hitch hiked - no
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill - not unless calling in because Grace was sick counts.
24. Built a snow fort - heck yes!
25. Held a lamb - no
26. Gone skinny dipping - aww good memories with the Star Lake girls.
27. Run a Marathon -no... although I'd like to
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice - no... but that'd be sweet.
29. Seen a total eclipse - no
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset - oh yes
31. Hit a home run - it's highly doubtful
32. Been on a cruise - nope
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person - Too many times to count! (I just left Lisa's answer, as it applies to me as well)
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors - not sure about those crazy ancestors of mine
35. Seen an Amish community - um... yeah from the inside and the outside.
36. Taught yourself a new language - no
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied - sure, yes
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person - no
39. Gone rock climbing - oh yes
40. Seen Michelangelos David - no... but again how cool would that be?
41. Sung karaoke - no... me singing is a no no
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt - no... but it's on the wish list
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant - um... no
44. Visited Africa - no
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight - mmm hmm
46. Been transported in an ambulance - negative
47. Had your portrait painted - no
48. Gone deep sea fishing - nope... I've been ice fishing
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person - no
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris - no, but that would be amazing
51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling - yep, in Jamaica
52. Kissed in the rain - oh I hate the rain... esp when it hits my nose. So... no.
53.Played in the mud - yes
54. Gone to a drive-in theater - yes... ours just closed though.
55. Been in a movie - nope
56. Visited the Great Wall of China - no... but again it'd be cool
57. Started a business - no
58. Taken a martial arts class - no... I instinctively know kung-fu...watch out
59. Visited Russia - nope
60. Served at a soup kitchen - why am I thinking yes... but can't really remember...
61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies - nope... I was in Brownies and hated it
62. Gone whale watching - no... but that'd be fun.
63. Got flowers for no reason - don't think so
64. Donated blood, platelets or plasma - yep
65. Gone sky diving - no
66. Visited a Nazi Concentration Camp - no
67. Bounced a check - personally all by myself? no
68. Flown in a helicopter - nope
69. Saved a favorite childhood toy - yes... as my daughter now plays with many of my dolls
70. Visited the Lincoln Memorial - no
71. Eaten Caviar - yep
72. Pieced a quilt - oh yes
73. Stood in Times Square - nope... never been to nyc
74. Toured the Everglades - no... although sweet
75. Been fired from a job - nope
76. Seen the Changing of the Guards (in Washington) - nope
77. Broken a bone - nope... I'm a weinie
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle - not so much speeding... see number 78
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person - oh yes
80. Published a book - nope
81. Visited the Vatican - nope
82. Bought a brand new car 2007 in 2008 - nope
83. Walked in Jerusalem - no... although that'd be excellent too
84. Had your picture in the newspaper - not that I can remember... although one of my quilts was in the newspaper in the background of an article about mom.
85. Read the entire Bible - no
86. Visited the White House - nope
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating - killed no... prepared, not really... cooked... most definitely. Good memories from my childhood about butchering day.
88. Had chickenpox - yesha
89. Saved someone’s life - no
90. Sat on a jury - nope
91. Met someone famous - don't think so
92. Joined a book club - nope
93. Lost a loved one - yes, to death and also just to life
94. Had a baby - mmm hmm... loved that epidural
95. Seen the Alamo in person - nope
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake - nope
97. Been involved in a law suit - does a divorce count?
98. Owned a cell phone - nope... goal in life to get through without one
99. Been stung by a bee - yep
100. Read an entire book in one day - most definitely... I'm a ferocious reader. I seem to remember Lisa telling me to join a support group when I devoured all three of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants in a weekend.

Haha! Some great memories there! What was your mom in the paper for? I still heart the sister hood books! Have you seen the second movie? it's great! Wish we could watch it together :/ LOVE YOU! ~Lisa
